We offer everything from a fire risk assessment in a comprehensive written format to the individual components of fire equipment and precautions that are required to reduce the risks in your workplace or home to tolerable levels. These might include extinguishers, alarms, signs, training, accessories, or just a conversation to put your worries at rest. |

To comply with the Health and Safety (Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, safety signs need to contain a pictogram to convey the message intended, instead of relying entirely on text. All text only signs had to be replaced before 24 December 1998.
The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 also came into force on 1 December 1997 which require employers to extend risk assessments to include fire risk.

It is recommended that the fire point locations are adequately marked, employees are trained in the use of equipment and the meaning of signs, and emergency routes and exits are suitably marked with signs complying with the above and kept clear.
